Climate

Moldova’s climate — warm and moderately continental — is characterized by a lengthy frost-free period, a comparatively mild winter, considerable temperature fluctuations, and, in the south, extended droughts.

Relief

Moldova lies to the east of the great arc of the Carpathian Mountains. It is underlain mostly by deep sedimentary rocks covering the southwestern portion of the ancient structural block known as the Russian, or East European, Plain.

Now I want to tell you about some amazing places you can visit in Moldova.
Day 1
Our first sight is Stefan Cel Mare Park.
Also know as Pushkin park, this sight is located in Chisinau – the largest city of Moldova. This peaceful and beautiful place is the largest park in Moldova (almost 7 hectares). And also the oldest - it was opened in 1818.
Some of the major attractions of this park include the numerous beautiful fountains, as well as the stunning sculptures of great classical Romanian and Moldovan writers – in the Avenue of the Classics of Moldovan Literature which is located inside the park.
Next one is Capriana Monastery.
This stunning monastery, originally buit in 1429, is located in the margins of an ancient forest along the banks of the Isnovat River – situated approximately 35 kilometers north-west of the capital city of Chisinau.
The Monastery was restored not so long ago and now it’s very popular among tourists.
Day 2
Second day you can start in National Museum Of History Of Moldova
This museum which was established in 1983 and is known for its remarkable history as well for its outstanding architectural beauty.
There are around 3,5 millions items of different importance.

Then I recommend you to visit Nativity Cathedral
The Nativity Cathedral, the foremost cathedral of the Moldovan Orthodox Church, was built in 1836 by the renowned architect Avraam Melnikov, under the initiative of Prince Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov. This grand church which is built in the neo-classical style is located in central Chisinau. One of the most remarkable features of this church is its three beautiful altars.

Day 3
Last day of this iternary you can start at Old Orhei.
Old Orhei is large archeological complex and open air museum.
Old Orhei which organically combines the natural landscape of pre-historic civilizations is located in the Orhei district which is approximately 60 kilometers north east of the capital city of Chisinau
Ancient ruins, caves, monasteries, baths and fortifications - that's just a little part of things you can see there.

Padurea Domneasca
Last stop is Padurea Domneasca. It is the largest nature reserve in Moldova. This unique nature reserve comprises of an area of almost 6,032 hectares. One of the jewels of Moldova, this beautiful nature reserve was established in 1993. Visitors can enjoy studying rare flora and fauna.
