internship experience

I would like to share my internship experience this year.
First of all, this was in fact our first real internship, because the previous one was during a lockdown. I had an internship at a travel agency.
Even though I didn’t have to go there every day or do some grueling work, it was still pretty hard for me. It turned out that my theoretical knowledge is not enough to work in a real organization. For example, I was nervous filling out various papers and contracts, because I was not sure that I was doing everything correctly. In addition, for me, as a person born in 2002, it was not easy to make phone calls to all sorts of serious organizations. I usually don’t talk on the phone at all … It’s very scary to say something wrong when you represent a company :D
But in general, I managed to complete most of the tasks, which I am very happy about. I learned a lot of useful things about tourism and how various processes take place inside it. Moreover, comparing my experience with that of my groupmates, I realized how diverse it is. Overall, the internship was stressful but rewarding. Returning to class in May, I was very glad to finally find myself in a familiar environment where I understand how everything works.
