Today I found out some new facts about business communication and also some tips that can help you improve your skills in it.

First of all, there are a few forms of BC. The most important ones are email, meetings and discussion.

Let’s start with the email. Firstly, you need a takeaway in the beginning of your letter. Describe a purpose of what you’re writing — it should be clear and easy to understand. Next step: bold specific important information in the main part of your message. The third step is to ask a person you’re writing to about one thing only.

Second form — meetings. The most essential thing is to have clear agendas for every meeting. To have a productive one start with “next steps” and be precise with your goals.

Lastly, a bit about discussions. To have a helpful discussion you need to follow three rules and remember about structure. First of all, don’t ask meaningless questions. Don’t waste your time and your companion’s time. Also being aware of cues to end the conversation is very important.
